A Pitch Over Pizza event hosted by Wake Forest University’s Center for Entrepreneurship propelled Leah Wyrick, founder of Three Strands Recovery Wear, on her entrepreneurial journey. She launched her company in 2018 after seeing first-hand the complications her mother endured after a mastectomy. Leah became inspired to help others that may have a similar experience due to the lack of advancements in today’s surgical bras.
